Wedding Locations

I have really been trying to come up with a unique venue for my wedding. Most people assume that a Florida wedding is held at the beach. That's not what I want at all. I've considered everything from a barn, to an old train station, to an orange grove. I just can't seem to decide what kind of venue would be perfect for my wedding. It's even more difficult because I live in Virginia so I've only been able to look at venues online so far. I just feel that before I make a trip to Florida to start looking I should at least know the type of place I want to get married at. There are just too many options!

This photo shoot from postcardsandpretties.blogspot.com is what opened my eyes to the idea of an orange grove wedding.

I also love the idea getting married beneath a big tree like in this wedding at Cross Creek Ranch that was featured on www.ruffledblog.com. Although, I would hang lanterns and other decorations from the branches.

Kraft Azeala Gardens looks beautiful but I'm not sure it's the look I'm going for. But I just swoon over this photo from www.simplyinlovephotoblog.com

Bridesmaids

I've been really thinking about bridesmaids dresses today. I love the look of pale, mismatched dresses! I want my maids to be able to choose a dress that is comfortable and looks great on them. Since my maids are all completely different shapes and sizes it just doesn't make sense to try to put them all in the same dress. Also, I truly believe that a bridesmaids dress should be affordable and able to be worn again. I love www.shopruche.com for getting dress inspiration. Here are some of my favorite ultra girly and cheap picks for bridesmaid dresses.
